Marrs offers a Product no other Belt Sellers have. Custom Made FACTORY

Capstan Belts for Several Brands,  that are Custom Manufactured in Japan.

Listed Below, you will find some interesting Facts, about ALL Cassette Deck,

R/R, CD Player and Turntable Manufacturers.

 

1.   No Manufacturer of the products above Make or Made, their own  Belts !

2.   All machine Manufacturers Contract with a Belt Manufacturer to supply

      them with their Belt Needs.

3.  The Belt Manufacturers provide belts made to the Machine Manufacturers

      Specifications. They do Not  "Pick and Choose "  what is available from

       the Belt Manufacturer.

4.  The Machine Manufacturers normally place their Belt needs

      "out for bid or quote "

5.   In MOST cases, the Lowest Bidder wins the " Contract ".

6.   Marrs is fortunate to have a relationship with one of these "O.E.M " Belt

      Manufacturers in JAPAN.

7.   Belt Manufacturers make and sell, about 25 - 30% of what

       they did 20 years ago.  The audio gear we purchase today

       does Not use Belts.  The Belt Business is slowly going away.

 8.    Many, Many Belt sizes have already been Discontinued and are NLA,

       " no longer Available ", due to the "Lack of Sales".

          Have you attempted to purchase belts from the Manufacturer

          that Made your Machine ?

9.     Since I am fortunate enough to have this relationship with my FACTORY,

         I can have any Belt Size or Style Custom Made.

10.   The Quality of my Belts is Second to None, and are The Best, Period.

11.   Ask any of my Customers, when you receive my Belts it is Obvious

        they are of Higher Quality than ANY other Belts  "Out There".

12.   Would I Guarantee my FACTORY Belts to meet the Tape Decks

         Manufacturers published wow/flutter Specifications, if I were not

         POSITIVE my belts are that Good AND offer a 5 Year Guarantee ?

13.    Ask any Other Belt seller to make this Guarantee and they will RUN !

         Their Belts, WILL NOT PASS !

14.    For those that are not aware, I have been Restoring and Repairing Audio

          equipment since 1972.  I am 62 years old.

Dear marrscomfred,

I tried a set of belts from you for my Nakamichi 680ZX,   they were perfect.

 

Then I tried kits from  "other suppliers ".

The only belt in the kits that fit, was the Capstan Belt.

The W&F was way out of spec,  about  .25% DIN,  not acceptable.

 

I'm Sold !  You have the correct belts, it seems no one else does.

( Their kits did not include the idler tire )
